Sardegna Neolitica

Videomapping and interactive cartography for Neolithic heritage interpretation.

SectorArchaeology / Cultural heritage
LocationSardinia, Italy
FormatsVideomapping / Interactive cartography

Context

Sardegna Neolitica connects immersive media and interactive mapping to the interpretation of Sardinia’s Neolithic heritage, including the Domus de Janas cultural landscape. RHUDE’s work combines spatial storytelling with digital content designed for a public heritage context.

Design challenge

Archaeological landscapes are distributed across space and time. The interface needs to help visitors understand relationships between places, objects and chronology without reducing the subject to a linear presentation.

RHUDE role

  • Videomapping and immersive media
  • Interactive cartography
  • Digital heritage interpretation
  • 3D and visual content integration

Direction and value

The project uses multiple visual and interactive layers to connect local heritage with a wider archaeological narrative while keeping the experience accessible to non-specialist audiences.
